These tableau of tiles done in timeless techniques with simple glazes remind us of human lives at other places and other times - of tilework and mosaics unearthed at Pompei and in Roman baths all around the ancient world.
I feel a part of all the world’s ceramic artists from time immemorial when I put my hands into clay and mold these timeless forms.
